This week is the start of a new series, "Knotted Up".  Pastor Scott talks about the dynamics of relationships among couples either already married / knotted up or looking to get hitched.  He talks about some of the ways to strengthen this Knot.

Romans 12:2 - "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.  Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will."

Romans 12:3 - "For by the grace given me, I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you."

Romans 12:9-10 - "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.  Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.  Honor one another above yourselves."

Bad Attitudes from this world:

1. My spouse needs to change.

2. My spouse should read my mind.

3. My spouse should make me happy.

"We tend to give our best to the people we care about the least."   Why is that?
