Leading People To Fall More In Love With Jesus Christ... In Kenya & Beyond

Kenya is a country of 39 million people in the heart of Africa. The capitol of this distant country is Nairobi, a city of 4 million people. In the midst of this large and poverty-stricken city is a church that is passionate about reaching out to hurting families. Ridgeways Baptist Church was founded 22 years ago with a desire to impact it's community for Christ.

The Bridge Fellowship has had a long time partnership with Ridgeways and last Fall their senior pastor, Elijah Wanje, visited our church. When he experienced the family worship service we call KidJam, he knew this was something they could use to impact the families in their area and beyond. Kenya is a country with a rising divorce rate and with an orphan epidemic due to the AIDS virus. Providing families with the hope of Jesus Christ through a creative experience like KidJam will help Ridgeways make a difference. We will be taking a team of more than 20 people over to Africa to construct a KidJam family worship area and train their staff and volunteers on how to put on this high energy, family worship service on an ongoing basis. Since Ridgeways has planted 19 churches throughout Africa, by serving them we have the ability to multiply our influence on families throughout the continent.
