The Bridge Fellowship 2011 Mission Trips

Jan 14-25, Sri Lanka
The Sri Lankan government had several years of fighting with the Tamil Tigers rebels. The rebels were defeated almost
two years ago. There is an opportunity for us to go and meet needs of the Tamil and also a Muslim population in this
island country. After a recent visit with the president of the country, we will go to meet some felt needs while sharing the
hope of Jesus Christ.

March 9-20, Pakistan
The team will be focusing on two objectives in a southern city. Men are needed to assist with a water filter project in
a community of over 500,000 people while women lead water and health hygiene classes with the women. Men and
women will lead a conversational English program with nursing students at a large university.

April 10-23, Southwest China
There is a heritable disease that affects many of the people of this region. We have the possibility to help identify the
cause and possible cure. This team will need medical and non-medical members. In addition to traveling to different
villages each day, we will have opportunities to visit an orphanage and participate in an English Club.

Trip Cost: $3,000. Your Cost: $1,500 - $1,800.

June 12-25, India
This team will be leading a conversational English program at a local college with students in a city where people from
the West do not normally visit. Going where many have not gone before is an accurate statement for this beautiful
region of Northwest India. If you enjoy "hanging out" with college students, this is a trip for you.

July 2 - 9, Guatemala
Drill a water well and teach hygiene in a village in Guatemala. Relationship-building is just as important as the well being
drilled.

July 17-30, Pakistan
We need school teachers to go lead seminars for Pakistani school teachers. There is a well managed resource center in
the city that is again inviting us to come to partner with them. Men will be working in a colony where an ongoing water
filter project is in place. This trip will occur during Ramadan; this provides team members greater opportunities to ask
questions about the religion of Islam.

Late July / Early August, Peru
Help a local church with their children's ministry. We will help them implement a KidJam-style ministry by building a
KidJam set, training their people in what is required, and performing KidJam services with them for their community.

Trip Cost: $3,500. Your Cost: $1,750 - $2,100.

July 31-Aug 13, Southwest China
This trip will be a follow-up on an earlier trip addressing the issue of the heritable disease seen in the area. This team
will need medical and non-medical members. We will travel to different villages, be in orphanages and participate in an
English Club. Few places are spiritually darker than this home of Budhism.

September 18-30, Turkey
This team will go as tourists to an area along the Black Sea Coast to reestablish relationships with those we have not
seen for 3 years. This is a beautiful area of the world and the people are blinded by the lies of Islam; though their
religion is more about nationalism than faith. Go expecting to pray for people of this region and to build relationships
with those that God puts into your path.

November 8-20, Pakistan
Over the years teams have had several ways to meet needs of the people to build relationships. Women will assist in a
women's health program where several women have come to Christ. Men will be working in the flood areas of 2010.

November 11-20, Morocco
The team will be leading a conversational English program for high school and college level students in different towns on
the edge of the Sahara Desert. The hospitality of the people is overwhelming and Starbucks could never compete!
