Scott was born in Mobile, Alabama. He and his wife, Trena, have two sons and one daughter. He received his BA from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL, his Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages as well as his Doctorate of Ministry from Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX (enough degrees already!).
He loves watching Bruce Willis flicks, Rambo (go figure) and The Notebook (for his sensitive side). He loves playing golf, fishing, golf, hunting, golf, Alabama football, and golf.
Kenny was born in Mobile, Alabama. He began dating his wife, Valerie, in the first grade. Okay, it was the ninth grade, but in Alabama either is totally acceptable. They have one daughter and two sons. He has a BA from the University of Mobile and a Masters of Divinity with Biblical Languages from Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX. He’s a sucker for any “Based on a True Story” movie … like, “A Bug’s Life.” He enjoys golf, Diet Coke, sleeping, and jumping on the trampoline with his kids (but don’t tell his insurance agent he has a trampoline!)
Alex was born in Miami, Florida. He met his wife, Denise, while studying at The University of Florida. Shortly after they were married, Alex joined a traveling circus (no, not really, it just felt like it), with stops in Virginia, New Jersey, back to Florida, Ohio and finally settling down in the great state of Texas. During this time, he got his MBA from the University of Virginia, had a few different jobs, became a father to a son and two daughters, started seminary, etc., etc., etc. He loves going to movies, reading, playing with his kids, and hanging out with his wife.
Melissa was born in the huge metroplex of Tyler, Texas. She and her husband, Travis, have lived in Houston for seven years. They have a beautiful daughter, Avery. Melissa’s family enjoys spending time outdoors hunting with their two labs, Callie and Gunner(she’s a great shot too!). She has a Bachelor’s degree in speech pathology from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX (another great family resort area). Melissa loves watching movies that make you laugh your head off or cry your eyes out, or reading books that do the same
Amber was born in Austin, TX, and shortly after that moved to the Houston area. She married her High School sweetheart while attending Texas A&M. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She and Michael have two incredible boys that love to make bodily function noises. She is a HUGE romantic, and has seen Pride & Prejudice (the Keira Knightley one) a billion times. She loves to go on dates with her sweetie and have tickling matches with her kids.
Joel was born in a log cabin and raised by a pack of wolves on the beaches of central Florida. After turning down a full academic scholarship to MIT, he enrolled in Brevard Community College. He later went to the University of Mobile, where he got to take the classes from his previous college all over again. He finally made it to Dallas Theological Seminary and graduated with a Masters of Arts in Biblical Studies. Joel says, “I have been blessed with a smokin’ hot wife and two adorable kids. I also have a relative named Uncle Caveman. He lives in a cave…and one time he ate one of us. A few years back we found out that he was really a bear.”
Marshall was born in the wilderness of Nacogdoches, Texas. After turning down offers to play for the Dallas Cowboys and Manchester United, he and his wife moved to Houston with their degrees from one of the greatest universities in the country, Stephen F. Austin State University. They have one son who will either be in a Def Leppard cover band or quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Marshall loves movies ranging from Gladiator to Sleepless in Seattle, music ranging from Def Leppard to not much else, and hanging out with his beautiful wife.
